Is A Non-English Alphabet Text Involved?



For text in languages that don't use the English alphabet (i.e., English, Spanish, Italian, etc.), we normally charge $50 extra if we're able to create the layout from a key chart that we can provide for certain languages upon request unless you give us camera-ready artwork with the language already laid out. Payment Process--We will contact you by phone to confirm your order, answer any questions and to take your credit card information.  We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express as well as cashier's checks and money orders drawn from U.S. banks in U.S. funds made payable to "Simplified Design" A copy of your paid invoice will be e-mailed to you separately for the bronze marker which normally ships 5-6 weeks after your final approval of the marker layout proof.

Each cemetery or memorial park typically has very specific requirements that must be adhered to such as a bronze marker's size, its background color, style of border or edge, and type of base such as granite or concrete, if any, on which it must be mounted.

Information We Need To Ship The Marker:

Please include the cemetery's name, address, city, state, zip code, phone number, and fax number, also the contact person's name and e-mail address if you have that. The more information you provide the better and quicker we will be able to help.

If we are not sending to the cemetery, please list the same kind of information for the destination of the marker.

WE OFFER FREE DELIVERY* IN THE 48 CONTINENTAL UNITED STATES.

After we have received your payment, you have approved the proof, and the cemetery has approved the marker, it generally will take around 5-6 weeks for production plus 3-5 days for delivery. Shipments to HI, AK and Canada do not qualify for free shipping and will need to be quoted based on the delivery address.

The marker will (in most cases) ship directly to the cemetery via UPS Ground.

Upon Delivery:

Please verify with your cemetery that they understand: When the marker is delivered, do not immediately sign for it. Please inspect the marker upon arrival. If all is good, sign the delivery receipt and let the driver go. If there IS damage, please inform the driver, deny the delivery and return to sender. This will support a claim and the delivery company will replace the damaged marker.

Cemetery Acceptance and Delivery:

Bronze Markers And Plaques requires signed approval from each cemetery before an order is cast in bronze. This courtesy service is provided to our customers free of charge. We will contact the cemetery to verify the order placed is within the cemetery rules and regulations. Providing this service is to help the customer verify the cemetery will accept their order, however, it is solely the responsibility of the buyer to insure the item they are purchasing is within all cemetery rules and regulations.

Cemetery Installation Fees & Regulations:

Bronze Markers And Plaques is not responsible for any cemetery installation fees. The prices you see on BronzeMarkersAndPlaques.com DO NOT include the cost of installation. Many cemeteries will have fees for installation and endowment care that you will pay directly to them. Check with them to find out what those charges might be. Most cemeteries require payment in full before accepting delivery of a memorial. When you check with them about their rules and regulations, verify when the payment has to be made. It may be possible to pay them as soon as you order the memorial.

Bronze Markers And Plaques will do everything in its power to ensure that all memorials sold meet the requirements of the cemetery in which it is being installed. It is, however, ultimately the responsibility of the purchaser that the marker conforms to cemetery regulations.

Design Proofing:

Although we do our best to proofread and check for errors ourselves as well, it is ultimately the customer's responsibility to ensure the information, spelling and other elements of the marker meet their satisfaction before approving the proof. Any errors discovered, or changes needed, after the marker has been approved and has begun the production process will normally cause an additional cost that will be the customer's sole obligation.

If an error or misspelling is discovered on the marker after the design has been approved, cast and installed, it is the customer's responsibility for any fees that may incur having to remove the marker and recast the memorial.

Shipping
:

Delivery time is normally 5-6 weeks after receipt of payment, cemetery and layout approval. Additional design elements (custom bronze designs, custom designs, portraits, etc.) may extend the delivery time. All memorials are shipped via UPS Ground. All shipping costs are included in the price of the marker to cemetery or business destinations within the continental U.S. Additional shipping charges will apply if marker is shipped to any other area outside the 48 continental U.S. States. Any special shipping requirements will be the responsibility of the purchaser.

Should your marker incur damage during shipment, deny the delivery and inform the driver to return the shipment to sender. If you find the shipment damaged after you have signed for the delivery and the driver has left, pack and securely tape everything up in its original shipping packaging. Contact us immediately so we can schedule a return pick up. The shipping company will only pick up the memorial at the same address where it was delivered. If possible, take a photo of the damage and e-mail it to us at Info@BronzeMarkersAndPlaues.com.

It is important to inspect the memorial immediately. The time frame to file a claim is usually 15 days. All merchandise should be retained in the original shipping container in the same condition when damage was discovered until an inspection can be done.

Payment:

Bronze Markers And Plaques must be paid in full at the time the marker is to be manufactured. On cemetery markers, purchaser will receive a layout for their approval. Production will not begin until a signed copy of the layout is received from the purchaser and the memorial has been paid in full. At the completion of all paperwork payment must be started within 30 days for the file to stay active. We accept payments in the form of ALL major credit cards, money orders, personal checks and e-checks.

Credit cards accepted are Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. There will be a $35.00 fee for all returned checks.

Sales Tax:

Sales tax will be added to all orders shipped within the state of California at the rate of 7.5%.

Cancellations:

We are a custom marker company, there are no refunds on markers that have been cast in bronze.
